Total Senior was founded to help families find the most appropriate senior communities & care solutions for their elderly loved ones. With countless resources to navigate, finding the right care services can be quite a daunting task, but we’re here to help. Our reputation speaks for itself and we look forward to guiding many more families!


My journey in senior care isn’t just a career path; it’s rooted in profound personal experiences that ignited my passion for this industry. Growing up in a family that operated assisted living homes instilled in me a deep respect for our aging population and the unique complexities of their needs.

The path became even more personal when I became the primary care manager for my beloved grandmother. After she suffered a hip fracture, her needs evolved, and she began a seven-year battle with dementia. As my family searched for an assisted living that could support her, we encountered a disheartening reality: the agencies in our community seemed focused on quick placements for high commissions, not finding the truly right fit for my grandmother. This experience, coupled with my upbringing in the San Fernando Valley and former career in real estate, crystallized a desire to serve the communities I know best.

This experience sparked something in me – a determination to change the way families find senior care. I envisioned an approach centered on compassion, genuine understanding, and a commitment to finding solutions regardless of financial means.

From this vision, Total Senior was born in 2013.

Our mission reflects my personal promise: to guide families through this often overwhelming process with unmatched compassion, transparency, and unwavering ethical standards. Just as I would search for the absolute best care for my own loved one, I strive to do the same for each and every family that turns to us.

My background in caring for seniors doesn’t just inform my work –it fuels my passion. I draw on my experiences to not only guide families but to advocate for the needs of seniors everywhere. It is an honor to serve this community, and your trust is a responsibility I hold sacred.

Our Senior Community & Care Advisors live within the communities they serve. Every Advisor builds personal relationships with the senior living homes in their territory by touring prior to ever referring a family.

Knowledge & Education

Total Senior has years of experience in the industry and understands what it takes to put an elder in the respective community for their condition. Understanding people and the industry is what we do and it’s how we’ve become successful in helping every family we work with.

Boots On The Ground

Providing professional service includes knowing where we refer families. Our Advisors pre-screen ALL communities in our database. We meet the Administrators, talk to existing residents, and inspect the physical premises. We continue to track licensing updates, including citations and complaints.

Here For You, Always

Our ethical and compassionate Advisors provide support and guidance from the first conversation as they learn each family’s needs and continue to follow up after a move in is complete to be sure services are surpassing expectations.

Staying In Touch

Feedback is everything to us, as knowing what each family experiences is the only way we can continue to provide the highest level of service and guidance. Although we stay in touch with community operators and inspect licenses, only those residing in a community can give us the necessary feedback to know what is going on day to day.

Save Time & Stress

We have collected detailed data on every community and match families with only those that match their parameters, including geographically, financially, and those that are able to provide the necessary care. Additionally, we contact each community prior to referring a family to make sure there is a vacancy…why send you to a community that has no availability?

Our goal is to work with as many communities as possible in order to not “hide” any options from the families that trust us. To achieve this goal, we leave money on the table and charge the LOWEST referral fees in the industry. As a result, we partner with more communities in the areas we service.

No Quotas

Advisors do not have quotas to fulfill. We are a local resource, not a sales team. We have done our best to create a compensation model that does NOT incentivize Advisors to be sales people. By focusing on providing quality of service and guiding each family to the finish line, whether it be placement into assisted living or making an introduction to a home care provider, financial compensation is a result of doing a good job.

Families rely on our Advisors during what are often very stressful times. When hiring Advisors to serve the families that trust Total Senior, we look for one particular character trait: Compassion. Anyone can be trained do the job, but only those with their hearts in the right place can do the job well. This isn’t just a business, these are people’s lives we are impacting.


We’ve all heard of scams impacting seniors and healthcare professionals taking advantage of those that don’t know any better. We are here to be advocates and enforcers of professional and ethical services. Every step of the way, we strive to do what’s right.

Family First

We treat every client like our own family. Our Advisors are trained to put themselves in their clients’ shoes. Would they be happy with the options provided for their own mother? Would they feel comfortable with the guidance they’re receiving if the roles were reversed?


Total Senior is compensated by the communities we partner with allowing us to offer a free service to the families we represent. But don’t worry, we contract with all communities at the same rate (a percentage of the first month’s rent) so our incentive is to find your loved one the right home, not any particular one.

Consultation & Education

Call your local Senior Living Advisor. During this initial consultation, your Advisor will learn about your loved one’s care needs, personality, lifestyle, budget and personal preferences for senior living. This is also the best time to have your questions answered about types of settings, costs, and more.

We do the research

Your Advisor will reach out to all appropriate communities to determine vacancies and then provide you with a detailed list of options which match the care needs, budget, and geography.

Touring and Feedback

Tour communities individually or with an Advisor. Provide feedback to your Advisor so they can continue to provide options that more closely resemble what you’re looking for. Your Advisor is available for consultation throughout this process.

Transition & Settlement

Select a community and have your Advisor assist with making moving arrangements so that your transition is as simple and stress free as possible. Stay in touch to let us know how your loved one is doing!
